Become a KYVC Provider
The KYVC can serve your institution as a means for providing K-20 and professional
development/continuing education online courses and programs. There are two ways
you can become involved:
- Use the KYVC to market your existing online courses and programs.
If you host your own courses and programs, the KYVC can market those by including
them in our online catalog. The KYVC can also coordinate lead-generation for your
organization by setting up a referral system in our catalog, which would alert you
of those interested in taking your courses, and provide you access to the student
information system, which compiles all referral information.
- Use the KYVC to host your courses and manage your enrollments.
Beyond the aforementioned services, you can choose for the KYVC to host your online
courses, programs, and Web site. With this option, you’ll have access to the ANGEL
course management system, a Blackboard product, and Virtual Campus Navigator (vCN). In addition,
you’ll have the ability to set up e-commerce and online or batch enrollments, and
further tailor your courses and programs to fit your needs using our student information
system.
No matter which option you choose, your organization will also have access to
training, workshops, and other e-Learning resources, as well as a
24/7 help desk to answer any questions your instructors or students may
have:
- Free registration for upcoming Sloan-C workshops.
- Access to the instructional materials in the Kentucky Learning Depot.
- Receive instructor guidance and support from Quality Matters and Eduventures.
- Network with other instructors to learn about leading-edge online instructional
technologies through Internet2.
- Gain single-sign-on access to the wealth of resources available through the Kentucky Virtual Library.
- Access to resources through the statewide Blackboard and Blackboard Help Desk contracts.
- and many more — ask our KYVC representative for other services available.
