| Financial Aid Although the Kentucky Commonwealth Virtual University does not currently administer financial aid, we can facilitate your contact with KYVU participating institutional financial aid offices. The following guidelines should help you in your search for financial assistance: New Students If this will be your first experience taking a postsecondary course, you should contact the technical school, college or university that is offering the course. If you are enrolling in courses from more than one institution, you should determine which institution would be your "home school" and contact the financial aid office at that institution. Currently Enrolled Students If you are currently enrolled in a postsecondary institution, that institution will administer any financial aid for which you might qualify. If you are taking courses from other institutions, your "home institution"; will still administer your financial aid. General Financial Aid Information If you think you’re ready to take a course at KYVU, but you’re not sure if you can afford to take the class, you can research a variety of financial aid and scholarship resources via the Web.
