This degree completion program is designed for adult learners who have earned 45+ hours or are nearing completion of their associate degree. The core requirements consist of 45 semester hours which include both specific courses and the area of concentration. The degree focuses on the art of leadership, communication skills and workplace psychology, preparing you for responsible supervisory and administrative roles in today’s complex and competitive world of work. The concentration may be designed by you and your advisor to enhance professional development or you may choose to take the online option in Web development.
Students who need to complete coursework to earn the full general education certification requirements in Kentucky will benefit from the agreement between Northern Kentucky University and the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) for the online delivery of the Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership degree.
Full general education certification is earned when a student completes an Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree (or a minimum of 60 hours with a 2.0 G.P.A.) at KCTCS. Students who have earned an Associate in Applied Science degree will need to complete additional general education requirements for full certification.

Admission to Northern Kentucky University is based on academic performance. A minimum of a 2.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale is required. Transfer credit only will be awarded to students who have earned credit from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
