Why create an ePortfolio? (For Facilitators)
Facilitators may benefit from creating a KY ePortfolio because the service helps facilitators to
- Have greater communication with their learners and other facilitators

Have greater communication with their learners and other facilitators
Facilitators can increase the frequency and quality of their communication with their learners and with other facilitators. KY ePortfolio provides numerous functions that will help make communication easier for learners and facilitators.
Facilitators may ask their learners to submit in their assignments via KY ePortfolio. Facilitators may also provide instructional tips, course announcements and readings, and even share information with their learners by using the Blog feature.
Additionally, facilitators may ask learners to submit a reflective journal, which will allow facilitators to better gauge learners’ comprehension in the course and to receive feedback from learners about the course.

Facilitators may note what facilitation methods they had used in the classroom that have worked well and how their facilitation skills have improved. Facilitators may also note their growth within their profession and in what direction they may want to continue to grow in.
